mission statement

‘We are motivated, active and determined!’

1. Vision

The Gstaad Sports Centre is the central location for sports, health, leisure and events in the Saanenland region. We are a meeting place for everyone, inspiring and bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. With a wide range of sports and event options and a welcoming atmosphere, we create space for encounters and community.

2. Mission

Our mission is to create a lively and inviting platform by offering a wide range of sports, leisure and event opportunities. In addition to the indoor swimming pool, wellness area, curling hall, mini golf, artificial ice rink, indoor tennis court, beach volleyball courts and group fitness and fitness facilities, we offer a comprehensive range of leisure activities for the region with the Saanen outdoor swimming pool and the Gstaad ice rink. Thanks to our versatile event spaces – in the tennis hall, the festival tent and at the Gstaad ice rink – we are a central venue for numerous events, including local festivals, sporting and cultural events. The event spaces are used by local clubs for trade fairs, general meetings, yodelling concerts, cattle shows and other traditional events. We also provide the ideal setting for large-scale events, making our sports centre a cultural and sporting attraction. With the Sport Lodge, we also operate two double chalets that can accommodate up to 180 people. These offer suitable and centrally located accommodation for large events (as accommodation for helpers), sports clubs and individual guests. Thanks to the service agreement with the municipality of Saanen, which includes financial support, and the financial assistance of the surrounding municipalities, we are able to operate the indoor swimming pool, the Saanen outdoor swimming pool and the Gstaad ice rink as key service providers for the region on a cost-covering basis.

3. values

Motivation and determination
We are committed to continuously improving and developing our services with enthusiasm and dedication. We strive for high quality and always do our best to exceed the expectations of our guests and event partners.

Respect and team spirit
Our corporate culture fosters mutual respect and promotes a working environment in which all employees feel valued and supported. We help each other and work together to offer our guests an outstanding experience.

Flat hierarchies and collaboration
We believe in open communication and a flat management hierarchy. This creates space for personal responsibility and promotes a culture in which ideas and initiatives are welcome.

Work-life balance and family friendliness
Balancing work and private life is important to us. We offer flexible working models that are particularly suitable for family people and those returning to work.

Adaptability and innovation
Our offering is reviewed and adjusted by the team every six months to ensure that we always meet the current needs of our guests and partners and offer a modern sports, leisure and event experience.

Regionality and community
As a major service provider in the Saanenland region, we are firmly rooted in the area. We promote community spirit and create a place for people to meet and bond.

4. goals

A popular meeting place for all target groups
Our sports centre is open to everyone – locals, tourists, sports clubs, event visitors and event organisers. We want everyone to feel at home here and find the right activity or event space for them.

Sustainable management and partnership with local communities
Thanks to the support of the municipality of Saanen and other surrounding municipalities, we are able to operate the indoor swimming pool, the Saanen outdoor swimming pool and the Gstaad ice rink as central facilities at no cost and secure them for the region in the long term.

Versatile event platform for culture and sport
With our event venues – the tennis hall, the festival tent and the Gstaad ice rink – we offer an attractive setting for cultural and sporting events and make our premises available to local clubs and event organisers.

Attractive and flexible accommodation options

The Sport Lodge is the ideal accommodation for large events, sports teams and individual guests who want to take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer in Gstaad.

Enhancing social cohesion
As a meeting place, we contribute to the promotion of social and cultural life, thereby strengthening cohesion and quality of life in the Saanenland region.

5. corporate culture

Our company is based on mutual support and respectful interaction with one another. We promote a flat hierarchy that creates space for personal responsibility and initiative. The personal and professional development of our employees is important to us, and we offer flexible working models that support families in particular and enable a good work-life balance. Sportzentrum Gstaad AG is proud to be a place that combines community and diversity by bringing together sport, culture and social interaction in the Saanenland region.
